NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSITS

Deposits on our classes are NON-REFUNDABLE. Please understand that when someone cancels last minute, we might already have taken the time to drive to the shop, used gas money to get there, and/or have turned someone else down for that spot, thinking you were coming. We are not permitted to give some of the classes with less than 4 people. We are a small business and cannot absorb loss of income the way a big business can. We understand there are sometimes emergencies and we are happy to work with you where we can. We are happy to reschedule you with a new deposit.

PROHIBITED NON USA CITIZEN DISCLOSURE

FEDERAL ITAR REGULATIONS PROHIBIT US FROM TRAINING FOREIGN NATIONALS UNDER SANCTION or PROHIBITED PERSONS. (We can train green-card holders). WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE, DUE TO DANGEROUS OR HOSTILE ATTITUDE OR ESPECIALLY IF WE BELIEVE YOU ARE PROHIBITED FROM POSSESSING A FIREARM IN THE USA. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, PLEASE CALL FIRST.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO PARENTS REGARDING MINORS

We welcome children ages 12+ who are under parental or legal guardian supervision. Please be aware that certain behavioral conditions and medications may cause your child to be considered a TN firearms prohibited person and AK Virtual Arms Training LLC may not be able to provide training. If you are uncertain that your child will be able to maintain reasonable control of their behavior OR if your child acts out violently, aggressively or impulsively, and is on behavioral prescription drugs for that behavior, please do not bring them for training without consulting with me first. If you have any questions or concerns at all about what constitutes a prohibited individual, please feel free to contact me to discuss. Here are a few examples:

Has been adjudicated as a mental defective or committed to/or hospitalized in a mental institution
Has had a court appoint a conservator to the child by reason of mental defect
Has been judicially determined to be disabled by reason of mental illness, development disability or other mental incapacity
Has been found by a court to pose an immediate substantial likelihood of serious harm.
Receiving social security disability benefits by reason of alcohol dependence, drug dependence, or mental disability

COVID-19 & General Illness Notice:

WE DO NOT REQUIRE MASKS. We do not try to make health decisions for you nor do we want to violate your HIPAA privacy. You decide to wear a mask or not, just be comfortable, and we know that you will do the right thing. We have a new UV HVAC sterilizer. We clean door handles, bathrooms, and tables with industrial cleaners that are COVID approved. I spray alcohol on my pens and guns between each class and encourage clients to wash their hands in our clean non-public bathroom. If you are feeling sick, exhibiting signs of respiratory sickness, cough, etc., PLEASE reschedule for a day when you are feeling better. We can only reschedule ONCE due to illness, after that, a new deposit will be required. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone exhibiting signs of sickness or for any other reason.
